Leeds United attacking midfielder Pablo Hernandez is currently suffering with a hamstring injury.
Garry Monk has told BBC Radio Leeds that Pablo Hernandez is unlikely to be fit for Leeds United’s next match against Rotherham United.
Hernandez has damaged his hamstring, and he was forced to miss Leeds’ match against Newcastle United yesterday.
The Spaniard has been a big miss for Garry Monk’s side, but Leeds are determined not to rush him back to fitness.

“No [he won’t play against Rotherham],” Monk said when asked if Hernandez was close to making a return. “We have to have a good look at him this week, but you have to be careful with hamstring injuries. It looks unlikely he will be back in a week. He could be out for another 10 days or another two weeks.”
Hernandez has made a very positive impression at Leeds since joining in the summer, and is one of the most creative players in the Whites’ side.

Leeds were certainly missing the 31-year-old, as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Newcastle yesterday.
Dwight Gayle scored both of the Magpies’ goals, and Leeds’ struggled to break down Rafael Benitez’s side’s backline.
Leeds have now slipped out of the play off places, and down to seventh place in the Championship.
