Birmingham City play host to Leeds United in the Championship tomorrow night.

Whites boss Garry Monk spoke to the media during his pre-match press conference, and chose to warn his players against complacency when they travel to St Andrews to take on Birmingham tomorrow night, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.
Leeds currently sit in fourth position in the table, and a win over Gianfranco Zola’s men will be of paramount importance, as they look to create breathing space between themselves and those currently outside the play-off positions.
Despite the Blues’ struggles this season, and their woeful run of form since the Italian took charge, three points will be no foregone conclusion for the West Yorkshire outfit.
Birmingham showed what they are capable of with last week’s win at Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Leeds are sure to be in for a game when they square up against the Second City outfit.
And Monk felt it necessary to remind his players of the tricky challenge that awaits them at St Andrews tomorrow night, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail:
“The Championship is so competitive, nothing is guaranteed at this stage. The management change at Birmingham hasn’t gone smoothly, but they had a great result against Wolves. Over the past two years they have been challenging for the Play-Offs, they have a very good squad. We need to go there and respect them, St Andrews is a tough place to visit.”
If the Leeds team do conduct themselves in the correct manner from the outset against Zola’s men, however, they will stand a very good chance of bringing the three points back to Elland Road, and in doing so, would take another huge step towards securing their place inside the top six.
