Leeds finally lost their first game of the league season against Birmingham.

Garry Monk believes his Birmingham side fully deserved their win away at Elland Road on Saturday, as they ended Leeds’ unbeaten start to the season.
Ex-Whites manager Monk enjoyed a return to Yorkshire with a 2-1 win and was in the opposite dugout this time around.
Che Adams scored twice for the hosts in the first-half to give Birmingham the advantage and they managed to hold on first their first win of the season, despite a late Ezgjan Alioski goal set up a nervous finish.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side remain top of the table after losing their first league game under him and are now level on points with Middlesbrough.
Birmingham boss Monk was delighted with his team’s away win and claimed Leeds are the best team in the division right now.
“I’m very proud of the players, they deserved that,” Monk said, as quoted by Leeds Live.
“To come here against the best team in the league, we knew we’d have to face that, but we got our rewards today.”

Leeds’ unbeaten start was going to end at some point and it typically came in a fixture they were expected to win against Birmingham.
But they weren’t quite at the races today and couldn’t quite salvage a point, despite Bielsa’s best efforts from the touchline.
They need to reflect on what has still be a great start to the season and it’s all about how they bounce back.
Leeds travel to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Friday for their next league meeting and will be hoping to get back to winnings ways.
