Leeds United beat Ipswich 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Garry Monk has reacted on Twitter to Leeds United’s 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Leeds picked up their fourth successive win in all competitions by edging out the Tractor Boys in a tight affair at Elland Road yesterday.
Chris Wood was the hero yet again for the Whites as his 35th-minute opener proved the difference.

Wood has now scored in every game of United’s four-match winning streak, having previously endured quite a difficult start to the Championship season.
Monk himself also had a testing first five weeks or so as Leeds boss, culminating in speculation about his future with the Yorkshire club.

The 38-year-old will understandably be hugely relieved over what he called a “good run” on Twitter afterwards, but the ex-Swansea boss, who has also helped his side into the fourth round of the League Cup, has insisted that there is still plenty to be done.
What a difference two weeks can make. This time a fortnight ago, Leeds were reeling from a 1-0 defeat by Championship leaders Huddersfield, and the pressure was really on Monk.
Fast forward 14 days and there is clear evidence that the playing staff are beginning to react to Monk’s methods.
