Leeds United manager Garry Monk led his side to victory against Shelbourne yesterday.

Garry Monk has reacted on Twitter, after taking control of his first Leeds United match last night.
Leeds took on Shelbourne yesterday, and they picked up a 2-1 victory in the fixture.
Souleymane Doukara and Hadi Sacko both scored in the first 15 minutes, as Leeds got off to a fantastic start.

However, the Whites never truly kicked on after that in their first pre-season friendly.
Leeds conceded just after half-time to give Shelbourne a route back into the match, but they held out to claim the win.
Monk was pleased with his side’s efforts in the contest, but admits that there is still things to work on before the competitive campaign gets underway.
Leeds are next in action on Saturday, when they take on Shamrock Rovers.
The Whites’ Championship season starts on August 7th, with a match against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
