Garry Monk has expressed his delighted on social media site Twitter, after Leeds United overcame Blackburn Rovers in the EFL Cup.
Leeds beat Blackburn 1-0 yesterday evening, with Chris Wood getting on the scoresheet.
Leeds are now on a three match winning run, and Monk is now looking forward to the weekend, when his side will take on Ipswich Town in Championship action.
Monk was under pressure at Elland Road, after a poor start to the season, but Leeds’ recent run of form has been encouraging.

Leeds have beaten Blackburn twice and Cardiff City once, to build some momentum.
Leeds are now in 15th place in the Championship table, which is just below their weekend opponents Ipswich Town.
The Tractor Boys have made a mixed start to the new campaign, and currently occupy 11th spot in the second-tier standings.
