Leeds United beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 at Elland Road.

Garry Monk has praised the performance of Hadi Sacko, during Leeds United’s 2-1 win Blackburn Rovers last night.
Sacko was a constant menace throughout the match, and his work to create the first goal of the night for Chris Wood was excellent.
The 22-year-old was arguably Leeds’ brightest attacking threat, and Monk singled the winger out for praise after the match.
Monk has generally shied away from heaping praise on individual players since taking charge at Elland Road, but he made an exception for Sacko.
The Sporting Lisbon loanee has made an encouraging start to life at Leeds, and looks likely to retain his place in the starting line-up for Monk’s side match against Cardiff City at the weekend.

Leeds’ win over Blackburn yesterday was hugely important, as it has relieved some of the pressure which was mounting on them.
The Whites have started the season in poor form, but they have now moved up the Championship standings, and into 17th place.
