Leeds United head coach Garry Monk is happy with the quality of his central defenders.

Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has been quoted as saying by The Yorkshire Evening Post that it is brilliant for him that he has three very good central defenders.
Kyle Bartley, on loan from Premier League club Swansea City, Liam Cooper and Pontus Jansson, on loan from Italian outfit Torino, are the three recognised centre-backs in the current Leeds side.
Luke Ayling, who joined the West Yorkshire outfit from Championship rivals Bristol City in the summer transfer window, normally plays as a right-back, but he can also operate as a centre-back.

Monk has praised his three centre-backs, and has said that it is brilliant for him to have this situation.
The Leeds head coach, though, has admitted that it is not easy for the trio due to the competition for places.
“I have three really good centre-backs,” The Yorkshire Evening Post quotes Monk as saying. “For me it’s brilliant. For them it’s difficult. But all three will be needed.”

Leeds are 18th in the Championship table at the moment with seven points from as many matches.
The West Yorkshire outfit, who are aiming to finish in the top six of the league table this season. are just two points above the relegation zone.
