Leeds United are set to take on Preston North End at the weekend, and they need the three points.

Garry Monk needs to turn to Eunan O’Kane, as he looks to find a way to get Leeds United back on track.

Leeds have fallen to defeats in their last two matches – against Reading and Brentford – and they have lost the midfield battle in both contests.

Liam Bridcutt’s form has dipped slightly, and both Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira struggled when called upon.

O’Kane, meanwhile, has had to wait on the sidelines – but he may just be Leeds’ best option.

Leeds are unbeaten in the last six matches that O’Kane has played in, and they need to rediscover that sort of form if they are to secure a play off spot.

Indeed, Whites fans are calling for Monk to turn to O’Kane again, ahead of their match against Preston North End this weekend.

Leeds’ position in the top six remains relatively secured, but another defeat on Saturday would have them looking over their shoulders.

The Whites currently have a five point advantage over seventh placed Fulham, with just six games to play this season.
