Monk says no team in the Championship will be working as hard as Leeds United.

Leeds United went into the weekend’s home fixture against Huddersfield Town knowing it was a must win game.
They lost 1-0.
The performance showed very few reasons for fans to be positive, with their west Yorkshire rivals recording a second successive win at Elland Road, and currently sitting top of the table.
Leeds as a result sit in 22nd place in the table, within the relegation zone.

Yet head coach Garry Monk has made a key promise to supporters, that his team are not giving in.
He told BBC Radio Leeds: “There won’t be a team working harder than us on a daily basis.”
Monk himself had been tetchy in an interview after the defeat to Huddersfield, and was speaking once again to interviewer Adam Pope.
Addressing that exchange, he blamed it on the result, and his desire to see the Whites succeed.
He said: “It’s very difficult after games, you’re as frustrated as everyone else, you see the work from the players players, who don’t get fruits of that labour.
“It’s never anything personal, I’m very balanced and calm, and respect you guys usually, sometimes it happens, nothing personal. We are very focused you want Leeds to do well, I want Leeds to do well, the only way can do that is together, if everyone gets behind the team we can get right result.”
Monk is speaking about the upcoming EFL Cup game against Blackburn Rovers, who are one of the two teams below Leeds in the Championship table this season, currently without a league win.
