Garry Monk has got the best out of Leeds United, but is there more to come?
Leeds United manager Garry Monk has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that his troops have not yet peaked in the Championship this season.
Monk’s side beat Burton Albion 2-0 on Saturday afternoon to move ninth in the Championship and one point behind in the race for a top-six spot.
Leeds are one of the division’s in-form sides after winning six of their last nine league outings in a run of form which illustrates just how far the Whites have come under the 38-year-old.

The former Swansea City boss endured a baptism of fire early on in his stint at Elland Road, winning one of United’s first six Championship games as he flirted with the axe somewhat.
But the Yorkshire giants have bounced back in stunning form, and Monk, whose side visit Norwich City this Saturday, says that there is still plenty more to come.

“They’re making good steps but my demand is always more,” he told The Yorkshire Evening Post.
“That’s not just for the sake of it but because I think this group can get better. It’s my job to try and get that out of them but they’re working really well.”
Monk has certainly restored a huge feel-good factor about Leeds – and especially home games – and the supporters will well believe that he can continue to get more out of them.
It remains to be seen if they can win promotion, but the signs of progress are very, very promising indeed.
