The Leeds boss is focused solely on getting three points in Leeds next game.
Leeds United boss Garry Monk is continuing to focus on the results of his team and his team only as Leeds push for promotion to the Premier League.
The Leeds head coach was speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post this week, when he insisted the only plan is to take every game as they come, and hope it leads to promotion.
He stated:
“We are not too worried about where we are in the league…
“Everyone is winning and that is why it is most important to concentrate on yourself.

“We can’t get too worried about who is winning. All you have got to do is fight for your three points and do it as hard as possible.
“All I care about is the improvement of the team and the development of this team. They have been through loads of scenarios, especially in recent months, that have tested them and pushed them. They are scenarios that a lot of the young players have not experienced before, but they are coming through them, which is good to see.
“That is really the only thing I focus on.”
Monk has certainly put a calm spin on proceedings at Leeds United this season, something that was certainly needed at Elland Road.

Drama has been the order of the day for too long at Leeds and whilst at first, Monk’s down-to-earth and, in all honesty, rather dull demeanour took some getting used to.
But is now clear his plan is to simply enclose this Leeds group and ensure them they are capable of winning any game they go into this season.
It is certainly working.
Leeds are currently fifth and pushing for the play-offs. Their next fixture is against Preston North End at Deepdale on Boxing Day and Monk will be hoping they take three points yet again in this fixture.
