Leeds United have made one permanent signing throughout the January transfer window so far.
Garry Monk has suggested that Leeds United are no closer to completing a transfer for any of their targets, following their victory over Nottingham Forest last night, with his comments to BBC Radio Leeds.
The Whites are keen to make additions during the January transfer window, as Monk looks to add quality to his squad.
However, no deal appears to be imminent at Elland Road just yet, with Leeds working hard to get a transfer completed.

“No change. But, look, I’m very hopeful and confident to be honest with you,” Monk said, when asked to deliver the latest about Leeds’ transfer. “We are all expecting some deals to get done and hopefully get some new bodies in.
“But it’s nothing drastic. We only want players who are going to support this group, because this group is working incredibly well.”
Leeds have converted Pablo Hernandez’s loan move into a permanent deal this month, and they are expected to do the same with Pontus Jansson soon.
Jansson made his 22nd appearance for Leeds yesterday against Nottingham Forest, which triggers a clause in his contract that allows Monk’s side to sign the Swede from Torino for an agreed price.

Leeds are also looking to add players from outside the current group, with a number of names mentioned.
The Whites are believed to be looking at West Ham United’s Ashley Fletcher (The Sun), as Monk plans to add another striker.
