Leeds United are likely to be without both Gaetano Berardi and Marco Silvestri for their next match.

Leeds United manager Garry Monk has been speaking to reporters ahead of his side’s Capital One Cup clash with Fleetwood Town, with his comments later posted on the Whites’ official Twitter account.
Monk did not get off to the best start as manager at the weekend, as Leeds crashed to a 3-0 defeat away to Queens Park Rangers. But this is a chance for him to get his first competitive victory on the board, albeit against lower league opposition.

Speaking ahead of the match, Monk said, “(Gaetano) Berardi will go for a scan today. We’ll know in 24 hours.”
It is a blow for the Swiss full-back who missed pre-season due to a thigh injury, with the latest setback appearing to be a hamstring strain.
Berardi started against QPR but lasted only 22 minutes before being replaced by Lewie Coyle, who will be expected to deputise against Fleetwood if necessary.

Marco Silvestri is also out of contention although there is better news regarding summer signing Pablo Hernandez, who has now received international clearance and can play if required.
