Leeds duo close on return.
Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has given a positive injury update regarding Charlie Taylor and Kemar Roofe.
Roofe missed the derby with Huddersfield Town, having played an hour of the previous fixture with Blackburn Rovers. He is likely to be available for this weekend’s clash with Cardiff.

Star left-back Charlie Taylor has not played since the December 17 win over Brentford. It is still too soon for him to face Cardiff but Leeds are hopeful he will be back next week.
Leeds released Monk’s comments via the club’s Twitter feed:
Leeds have a midweek fixture next week against Bristol City, which could still be too soon for Taylor, with the game the following weekend against Ipswich Town a more realistic comeback date.
Having Roofe back will give the Whites a useful extra option as they seek to break down a Cardiff side which will be marshalled by former club captain Sol Bamba.
Gaetano Berardi has been filling the gap for Leeds at left-back in Taylor’s absence and will do so again this weekend.
