The Leeds boss has plenty of young talent at his disposal at Elland Road.
Leeds United have been in great form recently and the club’s success can be attributed greatly to the club’s youth team.
The likes of Charlie Taylor and Alex Mowatt remain in the first-team set-up whilst the likes of Ronaldo Vieira, Kalvin Phillips and Lewie Coyle are bright sparks in the Leeds team.

The club’s youth system has been producing top talent for some time now. The likes of Sam Byram and Lewis Cook have also come through the ranks in recent times – but moved on to other teams.
Leeds’ manager Garry Monk is clearly a fan of using the young players and he has commented this week of his joy at watching the Leeds youngsters coming through the ranks.
He told TV Yorkshire:
“With the young players that we have, which is a lot of them, helping them on that journey is always nice to see.

“It’s a part of the job that is very enjoyable and when they respond in the way that they’re responding it’s good. It’s obviously a good feeling for them and for us as a staff to make them and see them grow every game and playing for Leeds United.”
Leeds’ continued youth production is a point of envy for many a Football League, and indeed Premier League, club.

Monk has shown he is not afraid to use young players with the way he has utilised the likes of Vieira and Phillips in particular this season.
There will surely be more Leeds youngsters to come through the academy at Thorp Arch in the years to come. Monk will hope he get to stick around and work with them.
