Leeds United and Middlesbrough will face each other at Elland Road in the Championship this weekend.

Monk’s Boro will take on Leeds away from home at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon.
It will be the first time that Monk will take on the Whites since leaving them in the summer of 2017.
The Englishman was in charge of Leeds for the 2016-17 campaign and guided the West Yorkshire outfit to a seventh-placed finish in the Championship.
Leeds are not in good form at the moment, while Boro are doing well and are showing the kind of form that they were expected to at the start of the season.

Middlesbrough manager Monk has spoken highly of the Leeds fans and has outlined their significance during the match on Sunday afternoon, summing them up in one word – “passionate”.
“I don’t know the ins-and-outs but the structure and squad has changed a little since my time there,” Monk told Middlesbrough’s official website.
“Like any manager you try to analyse the team’s weaknesses, and the passionate crowd at Elland Road can be a factor.
“It will be a tough game but our focus is on us, we know if we perform we can get a result anywhere.”

Middlesbrough have a stronger team than Leeds, and Boro will head into the match with confidence.
However, one should not be surprised if Thomas Christiansen’s side pick up a point against Monk’s team at Elland Road.
