Garry Monk left Elland Road outfit Leeds United in the summer and is now in charge of Championship rivals Middlesbrough.

Monk was in charge of Leeds for the 2016-17 campaign and guided the Whites to a seventh-placed finish in the Championship.
Radrizzani took complete control of the West Yorkshire outfit from Massimo Cellino in the summer after buying a 50% stake in the club in January, as reported by BBC Sport.
Now in charge of Championship rivals Middlesbrough, Monk has revealed that he was not consulted on major issues such as transfers.

“I felt we had done more than enough to prove ourselves, to earn something more secure and long term,” Monk told The Times. “If you look back at the start of the season, nobody expected anything from that team.
“I felt we had put in real strong foundations; now we could have a crack at promotion. But there was never any real intention to offer me a long-term contract.
“I also realised then that the club had already been working on signings and pre-season plans and I was kept completely out of the loop. The owner was making changes and taking decisions without consulting me at all.”

Monk will take his Middlesbrough team to Elland Road on Sunday for the Championship game against Leeds.
It promises to be a hugely exciting game of football, and the Englishman is going to get a very hostile reception.
Boro have a better team and are in better form at the moment, but Leeds have home advantage and will be determined to pick up at least a point from the Championship encounter at Elland Road.
