Leeds United picked up a 1-0 victory against Brentford yesterday.
Garry Monk has told BBC Radio Leeds that Charlie Taylor was not at his best during Leeds United’s match against Brentford yesterday.
Taylor was suffering with a sore Achilles throughout the contest, which was restricting his movement.
The full-back was taken off in the 58th minute, with Gaetano Berardi coming on to replace him.

And Monk said: “He had a sore Achilles. He took a knock over the far side and said it felt sore at half time, but he was not at his flowing best. Charlie’s at his best when he can attack, and it was restricting him.”
With Taylor sidelined, Leeds went on to claim a dramatic late victory against Brentford and take the three points.
The Whites struggled to break down the Bees defence, but they finally made a breakthrough in the 89th minute when Kyle Bartley headed in the winner.

Leeds will now be hoping that Taylor’s injury is not serious, with the defender’s injury problem set to be fully assessed today.
Leeds are currently in fifth place in the Championship table, with their next match coming against Preston North End on Boxing Day.
