Leeds United made it back-to-back wins on the weekend.

Leeds United boss Garry Monk has reserved praise for the “amazing” fans who made the long trip to South Wales to watch their side beat Cardiff City 2-0 on Saturday, in an interview with TV Yorkshire.
The Whites picked up their third Championship win of the season as goals from Chris Wood and Pablo Hernandez further alleviated some pressure on Monk, whose troops secured a last-gasp 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.

As usual, Leeds had plenty of support with them on their travels, and the young manager believes they played a role in yesterday’s win.
He told TV Yorkshire: “I thought our travelling support was amazing today. You could really hear them from start to finish. And they were the ones who helped.”

Leeds fans will be hoping this is the beginning of a purple patch for United, and it might be.
It is the first time under Monk that the team has managed back-to-back Championship victories, and as their collective belief rises, so too will their confidence.
They host Blackburn again in midweek; this time in the League Cup, before hosting Ipswich Town at Elland Road aiming for a second successive home win in the Championship.
Leeds, with three wins from eight in the league, now sit 15th in the second tier, four points off the top six.
