Paul Pogba joined Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Former Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has told BBC Sport that he is not bothered by Paul Pogba’s price-tag.
Pogba joined Manchester United from Juventus in the summer transfer window for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £89 million.
That makes the France international midfielder the most expensive footballer in the world.
Bale became the most expensive player on the planet in the summer of 2013 when Spanish giants Real Madrid signed him from Tottenham for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £85m.
The Madrid winger, though, is not bothered by the price-tags, and has made it clear that they do not affect him.
“I’m not fussed and I couldn’t care less,” Bale told BBC Sport regarding the transfer fee United paid for Pogba.
Bale is one of the best footballers in the world and is a key figure at Madrid.
The 27-year-old Wales international winger has been quite successful at the Santiago Bernabeu, wining the Copa del Rey once and the Champions League twice.
Pogba, who is 23 years of age, has yet to clinch the Champions League, but the Frenchman won Serie A four times in a row with Juventus and claimed Coppa Italia twice.
