Tottenham Hotspur uploaded a brilliant video on their Twitter on Friday where a few of Spurs’ summer signings play a game of Word Association together.

There were some hilarious answers to some of the more light-hearted categories including Danish pastries and Ben Stokes, but things got a little edgy when one category came up.

Indeed, Spurs’ summer signings were asked to describe Jose Mourinho in just one word.

Joe Hart, Matt Doherty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg all had to answer the question, but everyone’s eyes were firmly planted on what Gareth Bale was going to say about the manager he’s reportedly had a couple of problems with.

Interestingly, all four Spurs players used the same word to describe Mourinho.

‘Boss.’ Was what all four players wrote on their whiteboards.

Joe Hart slightly elaborated saying “Some people are the boss, but they’re not your boss. But he runs the show, fair play.”

It’s interesting that all four players used the same word to describe Mourinho, and perhaps that’s a testament to the respect he commands at the London club.

Tottenham seem to be getting back on track under the Portuguese tactician in recent weeks, and if they are to make the top four, he’s going to have to get the best out of the likes of Bale, Doherty and Hojbjerg.
