Tottenham Hotspur held Real Madrid to a draw at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s performance against Tottenham Hotspur.
Madrid failed to win against Tottenham at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League on Tuesday evening and had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home.
Spurs took the lead in the Group H match in the 28th minute when Raphael Varane scored an own goal, but Los Blancos restored parity just before the half-time interval through a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty.
Madrid winger Bale did not play in the match against his former club Tottenham due to a calf injury.

The Wales international star has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the atmosphere at the Santiago Bernabeu during the match.
The 28-year-old former Southampton star has also suggested that he could be back in time for the match against Tottenham at the Wembley Stadium in London in two weeks’ time, stating on Twitter that he cannot wait for that particular match.
Bale left Tottenham for Madrid in the summer of 2013 and still remains hugely popular among the Spurs fans.
