Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has taken to Instagram to express his delight at scoring his 200th career goal.
Bale, who returned to Spurs on loan from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid in the summer of 2020, scored in the 3-3 draw with LASK away from home in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The 31-year-old Wales international winger found the back of the net from the penalty spot in first-half injury time.
Bale is delighted to have scored his 200th career goal and is also pleased that Spurs have progressed to the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
More to come from Gareth Bale
Bale has made a rather slow start to life at Tottenham, but the winger is a very good player who won two La Liga titles and the Champions League four times with Madrid.
There is more to come from Bale, who will be a force to be reckoned with when he gets going and gets back to his best.
Spurs are doing quite well without the winger playing regularly in the starting lineup, and they will only get better when Bale is at his best.
