The old ground has seen some brilliant players come through the ranks over the years, but perhaps Gareth Bale is the best of them.
The Welsh wing-wizard initially struggled after arriving as a scrawny left-back from Southampton. However, he soon developed into a world-beating winger and eventually central attacking threat.

His excellence caught the eye and, in 2013, he realised a childhood ambition to join Real Madrid in what was a world record transfer fee.
But Bale has not forgotten just how important Spurs were to his development. He took to Instagram earlier today to highlight just how much playing at White Hart Lane meant to him:
Spurs have actually improved as a team since Bale left the club, with Mauricio Pochettino turning them into genuine title contenders.
Next season they will be going for the title again and there is no doubt that Bale will be supporting them all the way in their fight for supremacy.
