Gareth Bale has taken to Twitter to express his delight at returning to Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham have announced on their official Twitter page this evening that they have signed Bale on loan from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid.
The Wales international winger joined Los Blancos from Tottenham back in the summer of 2013.
Bale is delighted to have returned to Spurs, as shown by the following post on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier has welcomed the 31-year-old back to Spurs.
The 31-year-old started his professional club football career at the Saints before moving to Spurs in 2007.
Gareth Bale is a brilliant signing for Tottenham Hotspur
Bale remains one of the best players in the world despite his injury problems and lack of regular playing time at Madrid in recent times.
It will take the winger a while to get used to full match fitness, but once he is up to speed, he will be a top player for Tottenham and will make Jose Mourinho’s side a very strong team in attack.
