Gareth Bale could face Tottenham Hotspur on two occasions over the coming months.

Gareth Bale has suggested to The Mail that he may struggle to contain his emotions if he scores a late winner for Real Madrid against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.
The Wales superstar comes up against his former side in a competitive setting for the first time since securing an £86 million move to the Spanish capital back in 2013.
The first Group H meeting between the pair comes at the Bernabeu on October 17, before the reigning European champions visit Tottenahm at Wembley two weeks later.

Bale’s stunning form for Spurs during his last three years at White Hart Lane is what prompted Real to spend a then-world record amount on signing him.
You could argue that the 28-year-old owes a lot to the North Londoners, but the Welshman, who has won the competition on three occasions since leaving, admits that he might celebrate if he happens to score a late winner against Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

“I scored against Spurs in a pre-season game a couple of years ago and I didn’t really celebrate then. I suppose it depends on how you feel on the day,” he told The Mail.
“If it’s a 91st-minute winner, can you control yourself? That’s the question..”
Tottenham fans won’t think much less of him if he were to celebrate an added-time winner over his former club, by virtue of his scintillating performances in his last few years at Spurs.
