Gareth Bale told Sky Sports that Harry Kane is an ‘incredible’ striker after Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 4-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Welshman also joked that Heung-Min Son is ‘fine’ with Kane building a partnership with the left-footer because normally it’s the record-breaking Tottenham duo who are wrecking havoc on the opposition.
Son’s assist for Kane yesterday means they have assisted one another on 14 occasions this season – more than any other partnership in Premier League history and breaking Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton’s 25+ year record.
Nonetheless, Bale was asked to share his thoughts on playing with Kane and whether Son is fine with the duo striking a relationship together on the pitch.
“He’s an incredible striker,” said Bale. “He showed again tonight and he has been so consistent, so a fantastic performance again from him. We are lucky to have him here.
“No, Sonny is fine. Obviously, all of us want to score but we all know the most important thing is we score for the team to help the team get three points and we keep moving on.”

Tottenham are days away from the North London derby, they have a Europa League knockout match before that, so Bale’s form is hitting the screens of the fans at the right time.
Not only that, there is Dele Alli, who is another revived figure, on the bench, so Jose Mourinho now has options to choose from.
It will be interesting to see how Mourinho plays this one out on Thursday night and the type of team he plays for Zagreb because there will also be an eye on that all-important North London derby.
