Diogo Jota joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan deal from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Jota joined Wolves in the Championship in England from Spanish side Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder moved to the Wolves on a season-long loan deal from Atletico.
The youngster has made a strong start to life at the Molineux Stadium, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in 12 Championship appearances so far this season.

Ainsworth, currently in charge of League Two club Wycombe, believes that it will be tough for Wolves to make Jota’s loan deal permanent.
Ainsworth told Sky Sports regarding Wolves trying to tie down Jota on a permanent deal: “It’s going to be tough. He’s on form and with the strikers in the Championship they don’t last long. They are away.”

Jota has taken to the Championship like a duck to water and is leading Wolves’ quest to get promoted to the Premier League.
If the Wanderers are able to get promoted from the Championship, then they could find it easier to make the attacking midfielder’s loan deal permanent.
Wolves will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Preston North End at home in the Championship.
