Spirits were high in Tottenham Hotspur training on Thursday.
Spurs are back in Premier League action on Sunday with a visit of West Ham United.
It’s poised to be Gareth Bale’s second debut for Tottenham after returning on a season-long loan from Real Madrid last month.
And although Bale was spotted in training yesterday, the real star of the session was perhaps Son Heung-min.
Son, a £22 million signing in 2015, channeled his inner Dimitar Berbatov by expertly controlling a dropping ball with the finesse and deft nature that the legendary Bulgarian used to.
Even Bale seemed impressed by Son’s touch, as the Welshman did something of a bird gesture with both arms after witnessing it.
Here’s how fans of the North London side reacted to the footage of the South Korea attacker:
You have to feel a bit sorry for West Ham this weekend.
Not only are they visiting a Tottenham side who scored six goals at Old Trafford last time out, but it’s also a Tottenham side who are about to add Bale into the mix.
The prospect of Bale, Son and Harry Kane forming a three-pronged attack is enough to give the Hammers’ boys some sleepless nights and it’ll be fascinating to see what transpires.
