The Atletico Madrid forward is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur on loan.

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to make any signings during this month’s transfer window, but that could soon be set to change.
As reported by The Sun, Tottenham are interested in signing striker Kevin Gameiro on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Tottenham have once again been heavily reliant on Harry Kane for goals this season, with the prolific striker having found the net on 21 occasions across all competitions.

However, Tottenham are eager to ease the burden on Kane and bringing in Gameiro would be an excellent option in that regard, with the Frenchman capable of finding the net with regularity.
Gameiro has scored four goals in 13 league games for Atletico this season, while he has 22 goals in 64 appearances for the club in total.

A clinical player, Gameiro wouldn’t be a regular starter if he was to join Tottenham but he would certainly provide Mauricio Pochettino’s side with a useful option as a substitute, while he could be involved from the offset on some occasions.
Although Son Heung-min has stepped up to score eight goals this season, bringing in another striker would certainly be hugely beneficial for Tottenham, especially given that Fernando Llorente has scored just twice in 22 appearances since joining from Swansea City.
