Chris Sutton has written in The Daily Mail that Brenden Aaronson could prove to be a big player for Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United.
The former Chelsea striker has been impressed by what he has seen of the 21-year-old Leeds summer transfer signing Aaronson.
The USA international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, moved to Leeds from RB Salzburg in the summer transfer window.
Chris Sutton on Leeds United’s Brenden Aaronson
While describing the American as a key player for Leeds, Sutton wrote in The Daily Mail: “With the loss of Phillips and Raphinha, Leeds need someone to take on the billing of star man and USA forward Aaronson — £25m from Salzburg — has the skill and flair to be a game-changer.”

Big player
In our view, Brenden Aaronson will be a big player for Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
The American has arrived at Elland Road with a strong reputation, and will be expected to hit the ground running.
Aaronson has worked with Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch before, so you would expect the youngster to understand how the American boss works and know his system perfectly.
Leeds will be aiming to do much better than they did last season, and it will be interesting to see how they do under Marsch in their first full campaign under him.
Leeds’s opening Premier League game of the season will be against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road on Saturday.
