Tottenham Hotspur opened their new stadium by beating Crystal Palace 2-0 in the Premier League.

It was a night to remember for Tottenham Hotspur supporters as life in their new stadium began in the most perfect fashion as they beat Crystal Palace 2-0.
Heung-Min Son wrote his name into the history books as he officially became the first man to score in the club’s new stadium when he opened the scoring in the second half.
Playmaker Christian Eriksen added his name on the scoresheet not so long after as Mauricio Pochettino’s side recorded a valuable three points.
Before the game began, there was an opening ceremony, with music and fireworks starting off the night with a bang, with many stars past and present on show.
Club legends Robbie Keane, Ossie Ardiles and Gary Mabutt were in attendance, with boyhood Tottenham fan, Harry Kane leading the team out.

Tottenham will now turn their attention to the Champions League where they will host Manchester City in the first-leg of their Champions League knockout encounter.
