Hugo Lloris and Jan Vertonghen were the heroes for Spurs, who held out for a 1-1 Premier League draw.

The North London derby has finished all square as Tottenham Hotspur held Arsenal to a fiery 1-1 draw at Wembley in Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff.
The visitors broke the deadlock just after the 15-minute mark as Aaron Ramsey rounded Hugo Lloris and netted with a composed finish following a counter-attack.
Spurs were then given the chance to equalise in the second half after Harry Kane went to ground under pressure in the box and referee Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot.
The decision proved controversial as the England captain appeared to be offside in the replays before he was fouled but he nonetheless dusted himself off and slotted past Bernd Leno.
A dramatic finish ensued, Davinson Sanchez fouling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the box in the 89th minute for a Gunners penalty, but the Gabon ace saw his effort saved by Hugo Lloris.
Aubameyang tried to strike on the rebound but Jan Vertonghen blocked his effort to keep the scores level, and Lucas Torreira was sent off in injury time for a late tackle on Danny Rose as the spoils were shared.
Here are some of the key photos from the game, including Lloris’ penalty save and Vertonghen’s goalline block.
