It’s all hands on deck in Manchester as Pep Guardiola ran his City side through their paces ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League second leg qualifier against Steaua Bucharest.
But even the Spaniard can admit that a 5-0 thrashing of the Romanians in the first leg should be enough for Manchester City to book their places in the group stages of the competition.
The 45-year-old guided Barcelona to two Champions League titles while in charge of the Catalan side and the serial winner will be hoping to repeat his success at Eastlands where the likes of Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini have failed.
With Premier League action on the back-burner until the weekend, Guardiola has made a good start to life in England with a 2-1 win over Sunderland and a 4-1 drubbing away to Stoke to send City to the top of the table.
But the big question is can they stay there until May?
