The Whites surged back to top of the table after putting four past the Baggies at Elland Road on Friday night.

Leeds United have returned to the top of the Championship table thanks to an excellent 4-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road on Friday night.
The Whites got off to a perfect start against the Baggies when they claimed possession from the visitors’ kickoff and worked the ball to Pablo Hernandez, who struck from long range after just 16 seconds on the clock.
Marcelo Bielsa‘s charges then doubled their lead on 28 minutes when Patrick Bamford showed great composure to rifle past Sam Johnstone after latching onto a through-ball from Tyler Roberts.
The hosts, who had lost 4-1 away at the Baggies in the reverse league fixture, then extended their lead further on 64 minutes through Bamford, before Ezgjan Alioski wrapped up the result in injury time amid celebratory scenes in the stands.
Leeds are back on top of the table on 67 points and the pressure is now on Norwich City and Sheffield United ahead of their 35th matchday games against Millwall (Saturday) and Sheffield United (Monday) respectively.
