West Bromwich Albion ran out 2-0 winners over Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium on Monday night in a game which saw protests from some of the home fans.

Ahead of the game, some Wanderers faithful arrived early to voice their concerns over how they feel the club is being run, while then kickoff was delayed by several minutes inside the stadium as tennis balls were thrown onto the pitch.

In terms of match action, Jay Rodriguez put the promotion-chasing Baggies ahead in the 19th minute of the game when he headed home Craig Dawson’s flicked header on the goalline.

The points were wrapped up by Darren Moore’s charges midway through the second half, with Sam Field latching on to a throughball to slot beyond the reach of Bolton goalkeeper Ben Alnwick.

West Brom’s win moved them up to third in the table, four points behind leaders Leeds United, while Wanderers remain 23rd in the table, three points from safety and just four clear of bottom side Ipswich Town.

In addition, Phil Parkinson’s charges are still the lowest scorers in the Football League with 18 goals in 28 matches, while their last 18 Championship games have so far yielded just one win.

Here are some of the key images from the game, including some featuring the protests against owner Ken Anderson:
