According to a report in Goal.com, Galatasaray have turned their focus towards Everton striker Oumar Niasse as a back-up option to Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa, and that is positive for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It has been reported that Galatasaray have Everton striker Niasse on their radar should they fail to sign Musa from Leicester in the summer transfer window due to his performances at the World Cup in Russia.

The 25-year-old Nigeria international has been playing well in Russia, and that could increase his price in the summer transfer window.

With Galatasaray reportedly looking at Niasse – who has been on the books of Everton since February 2016 when he joined from Lokomotiv Moscow for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £13.5 million – it does make it easier for Wolves to sign Musa.

According to Sabah, Wolves are interested in securing the services of the 25-year-old Nigerian forward from Premier League rivals Leicester in the summer transfer window.

The Wanderers have won promotion from the Championship, and Nuno’s side could do with a forward with Premier League experience.
