Galatasaray are second favourites to sign Oumar Niasse from Everton in the January transfer window, according to Betvictor.com.

The odds of the Turkish giants recruiting the 26-year-old striker in January are 5/1, according to Betvictor.com.

The Senegal international is rated at 4/1 to join any Russian club when the transfer window reopens in January.

Galatasaray are one of the biggest clubs of Turkey who won the UEFA Cup back in the 1999-2000 season.

Niasse has been on the books of Everton since February 2016 and has a contract with the Merseyside outfit until June 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The striker was signed by then Everton manager Roberto Martinez, but the Senegal international does not appear to be in the plan of the Spaniard’s successor, Ronald Koeman.

Koeman was recently quoted as saying by talkSPORT that the former Lokomotiv Moscow man is not in his plan.

“I don’t think the goal changes anything but he’s still a contracted player of Everton,” talkSPORT quoted the Everton manager as saying about Niasse in September.

“Of course I mentioned before the season started that he’s a player who will not be in my plans but he’s still under contract and he needs game-time for if there is interest from other clubs.

“Normally, we have enough strikers and different strikers to what he is. I prefer these people and not Niasse in the team.”

During the 2015-16 campaign, Niasse featured in five Premier League matches for Everton, failing to score a single goal and creating three chances in the process.

Everton are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from seven matches, just four points behind leaders Manchester City.
