The Leeds United defender has little more than a year to run on his existing deal.

Gaetano Berardi has told the BBC’s West Yorkshire Sport Daily show that renewing his Leeds United contract is not his priority right now.
The popular defender has little more than a year to run on his existing deal.
But having only recently returned to Marcelo Bielsa’s side – who sit third in the Championship – after five months sidelined with a hamstring injury, Berardi’s focus is understandably elsewhere.
Asked if he would like to stay at Leeds – and English football in general – the Swiss replied: “I don’t know.
“I’ve got one more year and I will probably speak with Victor, with Andrea, after the season – I don’t know.
“But it is not my priority now. Not that I don’t want to stay but I’ve got something to do before!”

Having played just seven minutes of Leeds’ last five fixtures from the substitutes’ bench, Berardi could come into Bielsa’s starting XI against Millwall next Saturday as Pontus Jansson struggles with a knock.
The 28-year-old moved to Elland Road from Sampdoria five years ago and has played 124 times for the Whites.
Should Leeds offer Berardi a contract this summer?
