The defender moved to Leeds United under Cellino’s rule.

Gaetano Berardi has told the BBC’s West Yorkshire Sport Daily show that he is still in contact with some of the players at his former club, Brescia – but not the former Leeds United owner, Massimo Cellino.
Berardi began his professional career with the side currently leading Italy’s Serie B.
However, it is seven years since the Swiss last appeared for Le Rondinelle – having since moved to Leeds via Sampdoria.
Cellino was the man at the helm when Berardi arrived at Elland Road, but left in 2017 and bought Brescia shortly afterwards.
Asked if the pair have kept in touch, the 30-year-old replied: “No, not with him!
“But I have friends there and I like to see games when I can of Brescia, so it’s good to know they are top of the league.”

None of Brescia’s first team players were at the club during Berardi’s time at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, although he played with two – Daniele Gastaldello and Alessandro Martinelli – at Sampdoria.
The popular Leeds defender recently returned to contention after five months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
