Leeds United continue to add to their staff ahead of the new campaign.

Leeds United continue to make changes behind the scenes, with Gaby Ruiz being appointed the club’s Head of European Recruitment.
The former Middlesbrough super scout has updated his Twitter biography to include Leeds as his latest employers, and when you consider form Boro supremo Victor Orata’s appointment as Leeds’ director of football, the move comes as no big surprise.
With Thomas Christiansen announced as the club’s new manager last week, things are moving fast in terms of coaching and backroom staff. Now Leeds need to focus on player recruitment; something Ruiz is known for.
Leeds have to strengthen in a number of key areas including centre-back, midfield and up front, while another left-back is also needed with Charlie Taylor refusing to sign a new deal at Elland Road.
Ruiz had been doing a similar job at Boro and such is his reputation in the game, he is likely to have a number of potential targets already in his mind.

Currently scouting at the European Under-21 Championship in Poland, Ruiz has recently tweeted the team sheets of the matches he has been taking in, including England’s clash with Slovakia, and he may be hoping to snatch a gem or two when the tournament comes to a close.
Leeds finished agonisingly close to a play-off place last season and with some fine-tuning and savvy additions they could finish in the top six in Christiansen’s first year at the helm.
