Gabriel Magalhaes has reacted on Twitter to Arsenal’s win over Liverpool last night.

The Gunners drew 0-0 with Jurgen Klopp’s side at Anfield, but progressed into the quarter-final of the League Cup after winning on penalties.

It was another brilliant win for Arsenal as they maintained their stunning record in cup competitions.

Under Mikel Arteta, the North Londoners have now knocked Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool out of domestic competitions over the past two months – the first two came in the final couple of games of their FA Cup triumph.

Gabriel was left on the bench for the Premier League defeat by the Reds on Merseyside this past Monday, but sent a clear message to Arteta with a solid, accomplished centre-back display.

And here’s how the Brazilian – a £27 million signing during the summer – reacted to the victory on Twitter:

The Emirates Stadium side will face Manchester City in the last eight of the competition later this month.
