Danny Murphy has said on talkSPORT (11:51am, September 20, 2021) that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is not going to drop Gabriel and Ben White.
The former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has said that he is a big fan of Arsenal central defender Gabriel.
The talkSPORT pundit believes that the Brazilian and Englishman White will be the centre-back pairing for Arsenal going forward.
Murphy said on talkSPORT (11:51am, September 20, 2021): “Gabriel, I have always been a fan of. Him next to Ben White I think will be the partnership moving forward, if those two can stay fit.”

Of all the central defenders that Arsenal manager Arteta has at his disposal right now, Gabriel and White are indeed the two best options.
Both are 23, and both started the Gunners’ last two Premier League games.
The North London club won both those matches and kept clean sheets.
Arsenal beat Norwich City 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium before being past Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor.
Now, you would expect Arsenal to win games against Norwich and Burnley.
After all, the Clarets and the Canaries are expected to fight for survival in the Premier League, while the Gunners should at least be aiming for the European places.
However, given that Arsenal lost their opening three Premier League games, back-to-back wins have come as a relief and are very encouraging.
