Reported Everton, West Ham United and Crystal Palace striker Gabriel Barbosa has suggested to The Daily Mail that he would like to play in the Premier League.

According to The Daily Mail, Premier League trio Everton, West Ham and Palace all want to sign Barbosa in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old forward is on loan at Brazilian club Santos from Italian giants Inter Milan at the moment.

The Brazilian – who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Mail – is reportedly available for £18 million.

Barbosa told The Daily Mail about Everton, West Ham and Palace: “They are all important clubs with top quality players. Hopefully everything will be good for everyone if we reach an agreement.

“There are many things involved, mainly Inter Milan as they hold my rights. It hasn’t been decided yet, but it is very unlikely I will remain in Brazil. The Premier League always had great strikers and it is a joy to watch on TV.

“It is very competitive, fast-paced and dynamic, with loads of title contenders. There is quality everywhere, that’s why everybody loves it and I am no different. It attracts me a lot.”

Promising talent

According to The Daily Mail, Barbosa has scored 22 goals in 38 games for Santos this season during his loan spell.

The 22-year-old is a hugely promising young forward, and the Brazilian has the potential to be a success in the Premier League.

West Ham, Everton and Palace all would be a better team with Barbosa in the squad, especially the Eagles, who are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
