Gabriel Agbonlahor has praised West Ham United striker Sebastien Haller on Twitter.
The former Villa striker, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports and talkSPORT, was impressed by the reaction of Haller after he scored for West Ham against Sheffield United at the weekend.
The 26-year-old striker found the back of the Blades’ net with a superb strike in the 56th minute which proved to be the only goal of the match.
It was Haller’s only second Premier League goal of the season. According to WhoScored, the Ivory Coast international scored just seven league goals during the 2019-20 campaign.
The striker has come under fire for his underwhelming performances, and Agbonlahor believes that his reaction against United shows that he is determined to keep his place in the starting lineup once Michail Antonio has fully recovered from his injury.
Positive for Sebastien Haller
Haller is a good striker who scored 15 goals in the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2018-19 season, according to WhoScored.
Things have not worked out as hoped for the striker in England, but his goal against the Blades will have certainly boosted his confidence.
