Gabriel Agbonlahor has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Leeds United’s win against Aston Villa on Friday evening.
The former Villa striker has praised Leeds star Patrick Bamford for his hat-trick against the Villans in the Premier League game.
The former Chelsea and Nottingham Forest striker scored all of his three goals in the second half, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side got the better of Villa 3-0 at Villa Park.

Gracious in defeat
Agbonlahor is a former Villa striker, and he had made it clear on Twitter in recent days that he wanted Smith’s side to win, as covered by HITC Sport here.
However, it is great of the Sky Sports and talkSPORT pundit to acknowledge Leeds and Bamford for their heroics last night.
It is also interesting to note that Agbonlahor seems to suggest in his tweet this morning that Villa are a top-four club in the Premier League.
In fairness to the former England international striker, the Villans are second in the league table at the moment, while Leeds are third.
It remains to be seen if Villa and Leeds are able to end up in the Champions League places at the end of the season.
