Aston Villa conceded three second-half goals as they were beaten at Manchester City on Saturday.

Gabby Agbonlahor has praised Aston Villa duo Jack Grealish and Keinan Davis despite their side suffering a 3-0 defeat at Manchester City on Saturday.
Grealish started the match at the Etihad, whilst Davis was a second-half substitute, with Agbonlahor labelling the powerhouse as ‘dangerous’ for his performance off the bench.
Villa should have scored in the first half as they went into the break goalless. But they conceded straight after the restart, before a controversial second for the home team, and Ilkay Gundogan netting the third, all but secured the points.
After the game, Villa’s all-time leading Premier League goalscorer expressed his anger towards VAR but had positive things to say about Grealish and Davis:

Dean Smith would have been disappointed in the manner in which Villa conceded the first goal and how VAR went against his side once again for the second strike.
Added with that, his team should have done more to punish City in the first half, but at the end of the day, there are a lot of positives and encouragement to take from that display.
Villa will now turn their attention to League Cup matters, with a mouthwatering home tie against Wolves awaiting them on Wednesday.
Then they will welcome the Premier League leaders Liverpool to Villa Park, with Jurgen Klopp’s side certain to be sitting top when they take on Dean Smith’s men next Saturday.
Grealish, who seemed to have taken a knock before being substituted, will be hoping he is fit and ready for those games.
