Gabby Agbonlahor has stated on Amazon Prime Sport’s Instagram page that ‘offside is offside guys’ after reacting to controversy during Leeds’ defeat to Wolves on Friday.
Patrick Bamford had an equalising goal ruled out for offside by the smallest of margins, with the Leeds striker expressing his sarcastic annoyance on the matter on Twitter after the game.
It was a big moment for Leeds and one that ended up costing them a point from their perspective.
And whilst Agbonlahor’s words were harsh on Instagram, it’s no surprise that Bamford is getting sick and tired of VAR.
Earlier on in the campaign, during Leeds’ defeat to Crystal Palace, Bamford’s arm was seemingly ruled out for offside after he equalised.
During that game, it was a crucial point of the match, and in the end, those from Yorkshire ended up getting beat comfortably.
But it was costly, nonetheless.

Nonetheless, given the type of mentality, Marcelo Bielsa has installed at Elland Road, there is no doubt that the Leeds players will put all of this behind them.
A struggling Southampton side are their next opponents and a great chance for Bamford to get back on the scoresheet.
