Gabby Agbonlahor has told Chelsea to sell Conor Gallagher next season, who has been linked with a transfer to Liverpool.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that the 23-year-old’s exit from Chelsea is a ‘possibility’, with the Reds and Spurs eyeing his arrival.

It seems Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested Chelsea to let go of Conor Gallagher in a summer transfer deal if Liverpool or any other suitor comes calling.

The England international has not had his finest season in a Blues shirt to say the least, struggling in the middle of the park upon his return from Crystal Palace.

Apart from his tireless workrate, several fans and pundits alike have struggled to see what else he brings to the table in midfield.

Gabby Agbonlahor has seemingly taken notice of how underwhelming Conor Gallagher has been this season, suggesting Chelsea to say yes to a transfer for him amid his links to Liverpool.

“[Ruben] Loftus-Cheek, for me, I would get rid of. Conor Gallagher, I would get rid of. Aubameyang is an easy to get rid of, and for [Christian] Pulisic, I would say ‘bye-bye’”, he said on talkSPORT.

On one hand, the Englishman provides bundles of energy and pressing to any side he plays for, which is a huge plus for Jurgen Klopp, whose best midfield trios at the club all had workhorses.

However, on the other hand, the presence of a more technical player may aid the Reds as they lack creativity and control in midfield.

If Chelsea listen to Gabby Agbonlahor and Conor Gallagher is subsequently available on a transfer next summer, this is what may make Liverpool hesitate to get the deal done.

However, there is no questioning that the much-maligned attacker possesses quality, regardless of the season he has had.
